Material Specifications

This section details the approved substrates for standard shelters, digital panels, and specialty builds. Use the filters below to identify the correct material composition for your specific installation type. Correct material selection is critical to avoid rejection at the Sun Valley facility.

Installation Methodologies

Specific protocols for vehicle wraps vs. architectural shelter wraps.

Bus Wrap Workflow

1

Surface Preparation (3-Stage)

  1. Wash with non-wax detergent.
  2. Degrease with 3M Industrial Cleaner.
  3. Final wipe with Isopropyl Alcohol.
2

Application Technique

Use a 3M PA-1 Gold Squeegee. Apply with firm, overlapping strokes.

⚠️ Use Knifeless Tape. Do not cut on vehicle paint.

3

Post-Heating (Critical)

Heat vinyl to 180°F - 220°F using a Heat Gun. This kills the vinyl memory to prevent lifting.

Verify with IR Thermometer.

4

Edge Sealing

Apply 3M Edge Sealer 3950 to all perimeter edges. This protects against high-pressure bus washers.

Logistics & Overage

Correct shipping locations and strict overage requirements are enforced. Failure to include overage will delay campaigns.
